Abstract

The study focuses, at first, on the theoretical tools for the understanding of the payment card market’s functioning, a two-sided market. And it focuses on the analysis of the relevant market, in a wide manner and in its three dimensions. Hence through the analytic induction method, it undertakes the analysis of the puzzling relevant market of payment cards and looks for an appropriated focus for the antitrust policy analysis
